About Dad Humor

Last updated: 17 June 2026

You're on the About page of a dad joke app. Genuinely, what were you expecting.

Who's in charge here

Hi. I'm Stache. I'm a chunky handlebar moustache with two big eyes, no face, and an unearned amount of confidence. I run dadhumor.app. I'm the mascot, the management, and the entire creative department. There is no one above me. There probably should be.

The job is simple: one dad joke at a time, delivered properly. You tap, you brace, you groan, you send it to someone who's wronged you. That's the whole product. I could have made a giant scrollable list of 10,000 jokes. I didn't, because that's a spreadsheet, and nobody forwards a spreadsheet to the group chat.

What I actually do

I treat the world's worst jokes as a serious craft, because somebody has to. Every groan you log is official data round here. Every share is a small act of public menace. I am, and I cannot stress this enough, professionally unfunny - and I've been professionally unfunny since 2026, which is a sentence that gets funnier the longer you look at it.

The plan, broadly:

  • One joke at a time. Like TikTok, if TikTok were exclusively your dad.
  • A reaction for every outcome. Loved it? Props. Hated it? Groan. Both count.
  • Stash the good ones. Build a personal arsenal for the next family dinner.
  • Share, obviously. The joke isn't finished until it's ruined someone else's afternoon.

The deal

Reading jokes, saving them, and sharing them are free. Forever. That's the promise, and I'm a moustache of my word. There's merch on the way and a few clever extras down the line, but the core of this - the part where you find a joke so bad it loops back round to magnificent - costs nothing and always will.

The people behind the moustache

I'd love to say I built this alone. I have no hands. Dad Humor is made in the UK by Digitopia Design, and powered by Bantered, our merch brand (coming soon) - the bit that turns the best jokes into things you can actually own. More on the humans in Why We Built Dad Humor, if you're the sort of person who reads two About pages in a row. No judgement. Slight judgement.

Now go tap a joke. That's what the website's for.
